At The Climate Box we have just expanded our computing capacity

At The Climate Box we have just expanded our computing capacity for our Numerical Model, which has enabled doing simulations with bigger domains and reducing computational time needs more than in half.

These upgrades means further understanding of the cold air fluxes by simulating greater regions with higher resolution. Furthermore, additional capacities regarding surface roughness and radiation effects are being incorporated to the Model, and improved to reach better representation of a frost night dynamics with higher precision.
